That’s my GIRL!!!!!!!! Force. of. nature.
Wonderful and so inspiring! you make me proud to be a spirit jumper!
I was introduced to Meaghan’s blog I kicked cancer’s @ss almost a year ago. She has been such an inspiration to me personally. Shortly after I began following Spirit Jump was started and I am in awe of the work that Meaghan and Stacey have done. As someone battling cancer who can not do the volunteer work I was doing before I was so grateful for the oppurtunity to still be able to help others. It is so empowering and I do believe that “Spirit Jumpers” are as blessed as those who recieve the Spirit Jumps. This is a fabulous interview, great job Darleen & Meaghan.
Great interview. I love what you all do and you have motivated me to get in there more and lift more spirits! Thank you again!!!
xoxo

Wonderful interview! I am so proud to be a Spirit Jumper and do my part to lift the spirits of all the brave men, women and children battling cancer. I have heard back from some of the individuals that I’ve sent “jumps” to and it brings a smile to my face. What a great organization!
Hi Meaghan,
I just visited spritjump.org and found the link to hear your story. Thank you for sharing your experience. I can relate to many of your feelings. It was harder for me to tell everyone I had cancer than to hear it myself.
I had a moment when I lost my hair, it had been down to my waist. On the day of my first chemo treatment I cut it and donated it to “Locks of love”. About two weeks later it started to fall out, fast and furious. I went to my neighbor who was a hairdresser and asked her to buzz it off. That night my oldest daughter couldn’t eat dinner with me and my bare head, I locked myself in my room for two hours and sobbed my heart out. Came out with a bandana on my head and said ok, what’s next?
Thanks Meaghan, keep on keeping on.
Peace, love, light,
Patti
